Long Beach Takes Care of Its Own
Our community is facing a defining moment. In partnership with the Office of Mayor Rex Richardson, The Nonprofit Partnership, and the Mayor's Fund for Long Beach, we are launching the Long Beach Food Access Fund to meet the current need.
With the federal government shutdown and the suspension of SNAP benefits beginning November 1, 93,000 Long Beach residents — including children, parents, and older adults — are at risk of going without food.
The Long Beach Food Access Fund is a united citywide effort to make sure that doesn’t happen. Through this fund, you can directly support trusted local organizations that are on the front lines ensuring Long Beach residents have the food and resources they need right now.
Long Beach takes care of it's own— we are compassionate, resilient, and ready to step up for one another. Join us today.
