Fair Housing Foundation

We are the designated fair housing guide for the city of Long Beach since 1964. Our services benefit all community members including tenants, landlords, non-profits, realtors, and anyone who has fair housing questions. Some of these services include education and outreach activities, tenant and landlord counseling, mediation, and fair housing complaint intakes, discrimination investigations, and resolutions. By ensuring that all people have equal access to housing that they qualify for, fair housing creates diversity in neighborhoods and set the foundation for happy homes.

Through our services, we have been able to provide Long Beach with comprehensive, extensive, and viable education and outreach programs that help educate tenants, landlords, owners, Realtors, and property management companies on fair housing laws. This also includes the staffing of booths, conducting Fair Housing workshops, providing presentations, attending community meetings, and assisting with City services such as training staff. Throughout Long Beach, we have counseled clients with allegations of housing discrimination and provided practical and accurate information to landlords and tenants to guide them on their rights and responsibilities. We help keep people housed and informed!
