1 FUR 1 Foundation helps animal assisted programs survive, thrive and spread healing powers to more people in need, always free-of-charge. So far, 1 FUR1’s mission has been able to help over 257,731 people in need of animal assisted intervention. Last year, 1 FUR 1 and its four partners delivered THE BIGGEST IMPACT YEAR TO DATE. 71,753 people benefited from our free programs across select cities in eight states. The 91 certified dogs and mini horses worked very hard with their handlers to surpassed their own annual goals by up to 69%. But, we're struggling to support our four programs financially with raising animal food and veterinary costs. Plus, we're unable to bring in any new programs.
