As Partners of Parks enters its 40th anniversary, we are more focused than ever on supporting our senior residents. As the cost of living continues to rise, we are focused on filling the gaps for our seniors who are typically on a fixed income. Our current strategic plan focuses on intently on our seniors community with plans to add to the Donna Helsley Senior Food Fund which has provided meals for over 750 seniors to date whom otherwise would have gone without food at the end of the month, a commitment to refurbishing antiquated fitness and recreation equipment within all of our Senior Centers across the city, and increasing Senior-specific programming that promotes the arts, health, and wellness. Food insecurity among older adults is a rising issue and continues today, which is why Partners of Parks in partnership with the Long Beach Gray Panthers has made our Seniors a priority.
Your contribution towards our Long Beach Gives goal with greatly support a Senior in need as we head into the holiday season. Your donation will also impact the senior community long term by adding to our newly formed Senior Center refurbishment fund.
