LBSC produces radio shows and four complete productions of a Shakespeare play yearly. These productions often feature fresh interpretations, bringing new insights, global influences, and accessibility to new audiences. So, to reach beyond just Bixby Knolls, unite Los Angeles County and Orange County and bring them to Long Beach.
In 2023, Leveque also introduced two new programs, bringing fresh voices to the Long Beach stage. Both the New Works Festival and the Poetry Series were wildly popular, earning spots in the 2024 season line-up and beyond.
In the fall of 2023, LBSC teamed for the first time with LONG BEACH GIVES to raise money and awareness for Long Beach nonprofits. We are thrilled to join the more than 300 participating organizations, fostering new relationships and partnerships and celebrating the good that can be done when communities come together. The Company looks forward to a durable and productive partnership with our friends at LB Gives.
