Agape Children’s Museum, Long Beach's Only and Award-Winning is committed to providing arts, health and literacy educational opportunities to Long Beach and surrounding South Bay area Public and Private schools, Libraries and Communities. Since our inception in 2011 and through our school, community, and museum without walls programming, Agape has impacted the lives of thousands of children and their families with hands-on art, literacy and health learning experiences.
Our Museum offers a broad variety of programs including hands-on exhibits, open studios, art birthday parties, special needs programming, internships, cultural and senior & family programming and art summer camps. Museum Artists and staff lead programming in area schools, libraries, community pop-ups and after-school sites through our Community Cares Programs.
Agape brings hands-on learning activities to thousands of children in our area, allowing us to fulfill our mission, to connect a love of learning in all children by providing unique opportunities to explore, create, and be inspired. Agape believes in the transformative power of the Arts, literacy, health and play.
All museum programming is accessible to all children and their families and provides creative learning opportunities regardless of means or ability and includes programs for children diagnosed on the autism spectrum, children with disabilities, and children in housing communities and Title 1 schools.
