TPIRC was established in 2015 by Dr. Inderpal Randhawa. Early in his career, Dr. Randhawa began to question conventional protocols for the treatment of life-threatening food allergies. By studying a vast number of genetic and environmental factors, he developed a comprehensive, multi-system approach resulting in individualized, data-driven treatment regimens for allergic patients. Over the past 10 years, Dr. Randhawa has successfully treated thousands of patients at a near-perfect success rate utilizing this model, offering food-allergic children and young adults the freedom to safely eat foods to which they were once severely allergic. This unprecedented model of success led him to found TPIRC, an unconventional clinic and research center where precision medicine and data-analytics drive the treatment of not only food allergies, but also a series of orphan diseases.

Although the hallmark of TPIRC's clinic is the individualized, precision medicine approach to patient care, the beauty of this methodology is that with each case that we treat, we collectively unmask millions of data points relating to the care of some of the most challenging diseases. This form of data collection and analysis opens the door for truly patient-driven research derived from real-world, clinical outcomes rather than laboratory hypotheses. Like the diseases we seek to eradicate, the analysis of this data is both intricate and difficult, however, this collection of shared information offers the greatest hope to truly advance treatment protocols for some of the most complex conditions.

The TPIRC model is already offering cutting-edge treatments and exceptional advancements in care across our five primary areas of focus: food allergy, cystic fibrosis, bronchiectasis, airway inflammatory disorders, and immunodeficiency. Our proven track record of success is characterized by transparency and accountability, offering our patients and their families, as well as our supporters, the opportunity to partner with us to significantly better their own health while opening doors to radically improve the way medical research and care take place.

Testimonials

Patrick, father of a Tolerance Induction Program patient
"Going from a 911 call and ambulance ride to 60 peanuts still does not feel real. We are so grateful to the entire SoCal Food Allergy Team for this new food freedom. Words cannot express our gratitude for each of you. We look forward to more families joining this freedom thanks to your hard work!"

Alanna, mother of a Tolerance Induction Program patient
"Two years ago we took a leap of faith and traveled from Texas to Long Beach to begin treatment at SoCal Food Allergy. We had a mix of emotions: excitement, nervousness, anticipation, hopefulness. After meeting Dr. Randhawa, we realized that he was like no other doctor we had ever met and this program would be life-changing for our family by reaching complete allergy freedom."

John, current Tolerance Induction Program patient
"Being in this program is so incredibly important. It shows you that getting Food Freedom and being able to not have the risks of anaphylaxis is just truly life-changing."
