The Club of Harps was founded in 2021 to engage harmonica enthusiasts, all ages and ethnicity, beginners to advanced players, with a focus on community outreach. The Club of Harps seeks to provide educational development for middle and high school students, lifelong learning support for the senior population, and music therapy for health organizations. Club of Harps participate in community as well as international events, host weekly meetups along with monthly guest artist workshops. Club of Harps is a unincorporated nonprofit association of harmonica enthusiasts organized for the purpose of pursuing and promoting an interest in the harmonica through learning, practicing, playing, and performing. Its purpose is to provide an opportunity for harmonica enthusiasts to cultivate, develop, preserve, and advance the harmonica as a legitimate musical instrument, through the promotion of high standards of excellence in musicianship and performance and to enjoy the camaraderie.
