We provide more than 6,000 youth in Long Beach and across Southern California with opportunities to help them pursue their future career aspirations and reach their full potential.

Our Long Beach Schools Partnership

Our partnership with Long Beach schools continues to deepen. Last school year EXP delivered meaningful, measurable impact for over 500 students at Sato Academy of Math and Science, each gaining access to real-world experiences, caring mentors, and clear pathways to college and careers. We look forward to working with Sato Dragons and to serving more Long Beach schools in the future.

What Your Gift Provides

Your gift fuels opportunity for Long Beach high school youth. Our innovative programs include college and career fairs, field trips to local colleges and job site tours, project mentorship, guest speakers, career readiness certification and paid internship experiences.

EXP is the opportunity engine. We partner with high schools, industry, and the community to prepare students for success in college and careers. Our collaborative efforts with schools in Long Beach and across Southern California have provided students with invaluable opportunities to explore diverse career paths. These include career discovery events, paid internships, field trips, mentorship, and a career readiness certification, with workshops on resume building, mock interviews, and financial literacy.
