***Exciting news!! The Long Beach Symphony Board of Directors has committed to match every gift made to the Symphony through Long Beach Gives this year. That means every dollar you donate will be matched, doubling your giving power***
Please consider..
A gift of just $20 underwrites a child's attendance at one of our annual Family Concerts.

A gift of $250 allows us to provide an "Instrument Petting Zoo" for kids to gain hands-on experience playing those instruments! For some kids, this is their first encounter with an instrument, and it is truly life changing.

A gift of $500 funds one masterclass or workshop pairing Symphony musicians with LBUSD or CSULB music students for focused training.

For 90 years- since 1934, the Long Beach Symphony has delivered beautiful music and music education to the city of Long Beach. Musically, we deliver world class symphonic music in both a traditional classical setting at the Terrace Theater and a more contemporary Pops music setting at the Long Beach Arena. We are grateful to have some of the finest professional musicians in the world due to our location here in talent-rich Southern California.
Long Beach Symphony education programs coupled with a 45+ year relationship with Long Beach Unified School District deliver programs to every school age group. We perform elementary school ensemble for all 2nd & 3rd graders across the city as well as host every 4th & 5th grader in Long Beach to our Youth Concerts each year to take in the full concert experience at the Terrace Theater. Middle school students are invited to attend a Symphony rehearsal with Q&A discussion afterward, led by one of the Symphony's conducting fellows. And finally High School Honor Orchestra members are invited to play along "side-by-side" our professional musicians each year at the Symphony's annual Family Concert.
Additionally, the Symphony takes its renowned Instrument Petting Zoo across the city library system throughout the summer to put the instruments of the orchestra into the hands or the city's youth, accompanied by staff that explains the various instruments and instrument families.
