Founded in 1912, Long Beach Day Nursery (LBDN) is one of the longest-standing licensed child care programs in California. We are proud to be the first-ever licensed program in Long Beach and the first in the City to meet the high standards required for accreditation by the National Association Education of Young Children (NAEYC). Young LBDN graduates are better prepared to take full advantage of their school experience and succeed in kindergarten and beyond
