Long Beach Public Radio (99.1 FM KLBP) provides a platform for diverse community groups to express themselves. We provide:
* Access for local musicians and artists who would not be heard on commercial radio
* Educational resources to foster local talent, especially in marginalized and low-income communities
* New and meaningful career opportunities in audio media through internships, which have been lost in the corporate radio environment
* A voice for free speech and creative expression on a hyper-local community level
