I am thrilled and proud to support Compound Long Beach! I first learned of Compound in late 2021 and had the opportunity to learn Megan's vision first hand.
I joined the Compound Family in early 2022 and am now back for the recent re-opening. Compound is all the THINGS for so many wonderful reasons. My favorite part of Compound is our equity approach to all that we do.
Equity happens in every facet that is Compound - art, wellness, community engagement, partnerships, culinary, food equity programs (late Fall), music, and other creative programming! We cannot do this without our community.
We are also NOT your Grandma's/Grandpa's art house/organization! We strive to ensure that equity is present in all of our art offerings - from exhibitions to classes to artists to participants - it truly matters to us that all voices are heard and that all art and artists are seen. It is the fabric of our values here at Compound!
Long Beach is the perfect place to do this given the diverse population that makes up our great city! If you haven't visited Compound yet I encourage you to do so. There is no cost to visit Compound! Be sure to check out our offerings at:
