Small Things With Great Love

I have had a passion for at risk children my whole adult life. Starting in college, I worked with struggling refugee children while doing my credential program. I was a Children's Pastor in Pasadena and volunteered with Kids hope in Eagle Rock for many years. What I have learned in all these years, is that our small acts of love, kindness and attention, make a big impact. Mother Teresa expresses it as 'small things with great love.' I am grateful to now serve on the Board of Directors for For The Child, an organization that has a long history and wonderful reputation of impacting the Long Beach community.

Now in our 50th year, FTC is seeing dreams come true as the child abuse program is expanding with the John Gogian Teen and Family Center. The construction is moving forward every day and we could not be more excited about what the additional space will mean for the children and families we serve. 

Please support all the work that our therapists and staff do to improve the lives of children who have been abused, neglected, or suffer from emotional or behavioral problems. Your donation will help us provide services to all children, regardless of insurance status.
