I began my journey with the Historical Society of Long Beach this past December, while finishing my MA in History. I have always been passionate about history and sharing my love for the discipline with others, and I am so glad I am able to do so as a public historian. As a historian of US and World history, I believe it is crucial to understand our past and create a better future. It is a privilege to connect with our past to understand diverse cultures and identities. 

This year I worked on the Represented at Last! The Transformation of Long Beach’s People and Politics which highlights the changing political and demographic landscapes in Long Beach from 1970-2024. Exhibitions like this are made possible because of financial contributions from community members like you!
