About LBDN: The mission of Long Beach Day Nursery is to provide high quality early care & education for young children of working parents. Founded in 1912, Long Beach Day Nursery was one of the first licensed child care programs in California serving ages 6 weeks to 6 years old. LBDN has graduated thousands of young children. Our mission has become all the more vital to the communities we serve as the need for quality early education grows & research continues to prove the importance of early education in closing the education gap for at-risk youth.
